When I tried it for the first time I thought it was great, I screw it into the 1/2" pipe thread on my cold water valve and that's it. Well, that's not it. Brass threads on the Plastic bodies let water through. You must use the 3/4" adapters that came with the rubber washers to keep them from leaking. For me, this means buying more fittings to change the valve from 1/2" to 3 /4" to mount the filter, and then back down to 1/2". This is a real PITA and I would buy something else if I knew. I'm sure I'll be happy once I get this all sorted out, but in the meantime my kitchen sink is out of order until I can get the adapters I need.
