You can't go wrong with Castle Art Supplies Pencils

I've been using these pencils for a little over a month now and I absolutely love them! They have medium softness, a wide range of colors, adhere well to drawing paper and 65 lb card stock, and can be used with prismacolor Premier. They last forever but to get the most bang for your buck I have found that the TGAAL sharpener used in each setting works best. The Prismacolor sharpener sharpened to the point of the needle, eating too much pencil in the process. I've had absolutely no problems with broken cores or split barrels (yet). I only have a few minor issues with this set, and each set of pencils has something. * White pencil sucks like a blender! It's absolutely useless! But the prismacolor white goes well with it.* There is neither a name nor a color number on these pens. The only way to tell the color is by looking at the color box at the end of the pen. I get very annoyed when I try to continue a project I put aside a few days or weeks ago. I can't list the colors on the back of the sheet and put the pens away. I have to put them in a pencil case which is not a safe place to keep my pens until I get back to my project. * The seller sent them in a soft envelope instead of a box, which could cause serious damage to the core. problems during delivery. I have emailed this to the seller for future reference as as I have found with other crayons the tin does not provide adequate protection. I wish there was a half star option as I think they deserve the 4 1/2. I highly recommend them as they absolutely can't be beat for the price! I've included a painting I'm working on by artist Jodi Bergsma. The rose and the stem are colored with Castle Art Supplies pencils.
