At first I thought this adapter was solid. It's hard to hold and I thought it was a heavy mount. I figured since it's shorter than the other brackets it won't rock too much. The mount fits the monitor perfectly and is easy to assemble. Unfortunately, when I put it on my arm and attached the monitor, it shook a lot. It seemed to me that I would break or bend it every time I changed the position of the monitor. Also, if I ever bumped into my desk, the monitor would make a long, hesitant journey, only settling down after a few long seconds. A simple tap action will launch it. I found I had to squeeze something between the monitor and my arm to amplify the power. For a while I had a webcam on my monitor and people thought I was on a boat. After a day or two I decided to buy a mount from another manufacturer that had a piece of metal on either side of the mount. This makes a big difference to the stability of the monitor. Unfortunately I missed the window to get these back.
