Review on BANORES Traction Stainless Walking Climbing by Eric Kim

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very thick silicone, reinforced crampons, great bag

Banore's crampon set - strong and well made gripping spikes. These are size L crampons and I fitted them to the Columbia men's US7 trekking boots to see how they fit and to showcase the product. The silicone strap for wearing the chain set is the thickest I've seen. In addition, the connection points of the chain are additionally reinforced with silicone. Silicone is quite durable and fits snugly to the shoe. It feels strong enough to hold the chain on the shoe and get the job done. The back of the chain is clearly marked on the silicone strap and is additionally supported by side arrows. Be careful and you won't miss anything. In any case, you may feel uncomfortable if you put them on incorrectly, as the front cleats should be in the toe of the shoe, and you may feel unbalanced if they are in the back. Provided the velcro is very strong and long. just enough to bond both sides of the silicone to hold it to the shoe. The spikes are quite thick, as are the chains that hold them. The spikes are not sharp and are safe to handle. The chain set comes with a nice zippered polyester case that feels strong and waterproof for you to store melted snow and mud in. This bag is also the best cat bag I have ever seen. Keep them in emergency luggage for the day after tomorrow or the mountains will turn white; what comes first
