Review on Aluminum Brushed Minimalist Blocker Design by Patrick Stowers

Looks sexy AF. And that's it. Subject to return.

To be clear, this "purse" is made up of two metal plates held together with a very tight rubber band. That doesn't mean the wallet can't be called a wallet or that it doesn't work, just that it's not quite what I expected. Looks great. Super sexy. Definitely something you would show people. It's small too. I have a very small card holder that I use as a wallet and it's actually smaller than most credit cards. Here are my main concerns and why I would consider returning it: 1. Incredibly cramped. The video I watched shows people pulling out this wallet like a shooter and popping exactly the card they want with ease. Yes. no The cards are so tight that you will take them out all at once and put back the ones you don't need. 2. Does the rubber band stay taut? So no, you have a double-edged sword problem. As long as the elastic is very tight, everything will be together. When the rubber band stretches (which all rubber bands do), I see the cards and money "fall out" of the wallet (there's no bottom or top - as I said, just two plates attached together). Same concept when you download a wallet and then decide to carry less. Does the rubber band have a memory and will it stretch? My intuition says yes. And there's no way to fix this - even if the metal plates last forever. I'm talking about bad design. Eternal plates require a replaceable rubber band.3. The cards are scratched. I've done something similar before. I took a card case and put all my cards in it. The cards scratched each other. I firmly believe that it will be the same with this one. This is the main reason I went back to the traditional wallet. I wanted to be able to have each card in a separate case and you can buy RFID blocked card cases. So considering the tension of the rubber band, all I can see is that the cards get a lot of scratches in this wallet. 4. Not so "thin" with a money clip. My cardholder has a small windowed pocket that I can use to store money. This wallet's metal plates are so thick that it's the same thickness as my business card case. If I put a money clip on it, it gets thicker. This was not the purpose of the purchase. I suspect I would need to fold the bills and keep them with the cards (if thickness is an issue, which it is). 5th prize. It's not cheap. When they came out they had a 2 for 1 deal. I would definitely keep this and try it for $25. And give someone else another wallet to try. For $50 I have to really love this thing and really consider it a permanent replacement which I just haven't seen. I don't use it at altitude with the intention of coming back. In the end, yes, it looks very sexy. If you are a single man and want your wallet to help you in the 'game', I think yes, get this wallet. It looks amazing. But I think the functionality and features leave a lot to be desired, especially for the price.
