This works well. I have a "pop it" holder on the back of the phone case which makes the phone holder a little less secure. It still holds the phone but holds it securely (where it can't be pulled out) unless Pop-It is installed. It holds the angle you set for the phone well. The button on the back for releasing the phone is practical. But the bleed clamp is a little weak. It will keep it in place while moving. However, it pulls out of the vent easier than expected. So if you try to use your phone while it's in the stand, you need to be careful with it. Note: This is the first phone holder/stand for my car that I have tried or bought. So I have no other reference to compare. Hope the information helps.
