This USB-C/VGA adapter is suitable for connecting laptops to projectors or monitors with VGA connections. The adapter has a USB-C connector on one end and a standard USB connector on the other (with screw holes on the frame to tighten the connection when you want to use it). The two ends are connected with a 4" cable. To use the adapter, plug one end into your computer's USB-C port. Then connect a standard VGA cable to the other end and connect that cables to your projector or monitor. I really liked how this adapter worked. I take my portable projector to many different places for presentations. I never know what kind of computer the presenters will bring. But if they bring a Mac, especially new ones that only have USB-C ports, it's always difficult to connect them to a projector. Not anymore! I just plug this USB-C adapter into their USB-C port, plug in the VGA cable and everything works!This is an essential tool to have in my projector bag.All in all this is a very capable adapter that does exactly what it is supposed to do, a laptop to a projector or monitor to close without much fuss or degradation in image quality.
