I love this graphite paper. It works great, it's reusable and unlike cheap art stores it doesn't smudge or cause your paint or other media to skip transferred lines (it doesn't contain wax). I like to draw pictures on my 9x12" or 12x16" drawing pads, scan them onto a computer and then print them out at the size I need for the finished artwork and then use this graphite paper to draw my pictures onto to transfer the surface I want. (watercolor paper, canvas, wood panel, etc.) I do it this way because it gives you a perfectly clean picture to color in, without the erased lines or smudges that my original drawing might have had. I trace the printout with a white gel pen to see which lines I have and which I don't have. These rolls will last for years because you can use them over and over again. You don't have to press very hard, it's even better to use light pressure when using a fresh piece so your lines don't get too dark. If a piece has been used more than once, you can apply more pressure. I transferred this drawing to this watercolor paper with a piece of graphite paper that I have already used 5 times, the lines are light but clearly visible. I bought this set which also includes a roll of white paper so I can transfer images to darker paper.
