I can't give negative stars or I would. It was old, that's all you could say. The toy arrived dirty like it had been rolled in the mud, washed, left in the sun and stored with sneakers because it smelled like new rubber. Pieces of dyed red leather were also hidden between the knots. Dyed skin can be toxic to birds due to the harsh chemical processes used. Always choose genuine leather. The quality and condition was terrible and the tennis shoe smell just gave it away! I think it was an end in itself or a comeback for a long time. The label even differs from the picture as if it was made several years ago. I was billed $19 for the toy and returned it immediately per Revain's AMAZING return policy! Thank you AMAZONE! I see it now for $13. It might be fine for a dog tug of war toy, but I wouldn't recommend it for a bird.
