I use them when I travel. Depending on how much air I fill, it can be used as a footstool, pillow, lumbar support, neck pillow or seat cushion. You can put the tray on the table, inflate the ball as you like, throw a sweater or scarf over it, wrap your arms around it and fall asleep. It does NOT take up space in hand luggage. The only "minus" side is to deflate it before landing. I have to sit on it and feel a bit silly clamping the nozzle between my legs as the air rushes out. LAUGH OUT LOUD! But it's worth it! Just remember to squeeze the nozzle to allow air to enter or exit more easily.
