I used very cheap combs made of dubious metal. I had serious problems with static electricity and my hair. I would get my hair done just so the static would ruin my hard work. I learned that metal combs would help and they have helped, I no longer have static issues. However, these cheaper metal combs are starting to show their true colors. The color began to fade, and even the metal took on a strange appearance after combing the wet hair. I couldn't trust them anymore. I laughed at their price and then decided to buy very cheap ones. It's not funny anymore, I don't want to wonder if cheap metal is starting to hurt me or my kids. I had to buy these very expensive combs. I like the teeth of cheaper combs compared to these. However, it's not that bad yet. The other metal combs were also STRONGER. These combs are flexible and you might think they would be just as strong considering their extremely high price, but they are not. It's a shame. When I spend so much money on combs, I expect absolute quality. I think I got ripped off a bit, but I'd rather use a safer comb. After 3 days I had enough. I have decided to return these combs. I would rather use the cheaper metal combs. If the cheap ones get weird, I'd rather just re-order them. Spending more than $30 on combs that pull my hair out and brush it the wrong way doesn't happen. BRAVO, I TRYED IT!
