High quality, clear sound, unbelievable value for money.

This little stereo amplifier offers excellent value for money. I bought a model with Bluetooth and tone controls (bass and treble). It's really small, about the size of a paperback, but good things come in small packages. I hooked it up to small Bose bookshelf speakers and a pair of Cerwin Vega HT-6S (8 ohms, 125 watts). The sound quality in both sets of speakers was amazingly clear and well defined between the left and right channels with a direct left and right RCA AV input connection. I usually test my sound gear with several different albums in different music genres (I used Beck's Odelay for this, the Grateful Dead's high bitrate live soundboard recordings from their "30 Days of Dead" series (4-20-1969 Dark Star is a killer !), Stankonia OutKast, Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever and Patsy Cline's Greatest Hits) and they all sounded great. The audio quality was slightly worse when streaming via Bluetooth, but so little that only the most die-hard audiophile would notice. The amp stayed cool even after several hours of use. The only complaints are the lack of left/right channel balance control and the Bluetooth connection range was a bit shorter than advertised on the Revain. My Bluetooth connection to my Android phone dropped about 25 feet away, but I was streaming through the outside wall of the house. I'm sure if I replaced the stock antenna with a larger one and moved the amp so it was higher in the air (mine was on the ground) the range would be better. That aside, I'm very happy with this little amp and look forward to powering my backyard speakers.
