I bought these for a small electronics project that needed a well packaged light mounted at a 90 degree angle to a vertical surface. Each license plate light draws 13.6mA at 12V or approximately 0.16W per lamp assembly. The mounting plate is 2.55" x 1.17" x 0.16" thick. ). The actual light body is 1.2" high (including foam padding and base) x 1.585" long x 0.97" " wide. The recessed mounting holes are approximately 0.2 inch in diameter. Cable length 8.5". Cable diameter (insulation) 0.074". White (+), black (-). The insulated wire is 16 strands of 5 mil (approximately 24 AWG) copper wire. The case appears to be waterproof. The hole where the wires go appears to be sealed with clear silicone rubber. Each lantern comes with two countersunk self-tapping screws (0.64" long from end to end).
