is very easy to install, just remove the screen bezel from the front. One screw on each corner of the screen for when the screen pops out, two more screws on each side to remove the final mounting brackets and mount on the new screen. The shield cable socket has a small metal clip to attach the cable to the PCB socket. I also like to let the tip of my screwdriver sit on a strong magnet (be magnetized) before working with screws this small, and they need to be lifted vertically from your work plane, they stay in the screwdriver and it's no pain to remove them. hope this helps, the screen looks amazing, fits perfectly like the original screen!
