Review on πŸ“š Moukey MBP-2 Wireless Page Turner Pedal with Tablet Teleprompter App Control by Mohmed Burt

I really wanted to like this pedal but it's too unreliable!

The first disappointment is that there are absolutely no instructions included. I configured this for use with the OnSong program. After playing around with OnSong a bit, I figured out how to reprogram the 4 buttons so that the bottom 2 scroll up and down and the top 2 scroll to the previous and next song. This is not one of the two options that can be selected using the mode button on this unit. After I reprogrammed it and started using it, I found 3 horrible bugs in this device: 1. It times out and turns off after a short time if no buttons are actually pressed. 2. The Bluetooth connection turns on and off with only 4 feet between the pedal and my Ipad. 3. The device will switch between the two modes at random without even touching the mode button. All of this renders this flip pedal utterly useless and unreliable for live performance. After several unsuccessful attempts to use this live, I decided to order the STOMP Bluetooth 4.0 Page Turner & App Controller Foot Switch Pedal from Coda Music Technologies. It was a bit more expensive but it was worth it. The STOMP pedal works great and reliably in my live performances! I highly recommend getting a STOMP pedal, NOT that crappy Moukey pedal.
