Despite the fact that the box doesn't say Apple Watch 4.
I have an Apple Watch 4 and it's having trouble communicating with the charger. My friend has 3 and it charges well. Qi-Pad and lighting connector work great. My best guess is that the loading area for 4 isn't concave enough, which is more domed at the back.
