Review on HP Prodesk Computer I7 6700T Renewed by Kyle Herrera

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Impressive PC for its size and price

I've been looking for a long time for a desktop PC that performs better than my laptop and that I can easily connect to my TV for streaming work and light gaming (mostly emulators). I don't use recommendation technology, but I was pleasantly surprised by this small but powerful PC. It's great and meets all my needs for such a great price. Bought as Prodesk but ended up with Elitedesk which is the best version anyway. It is equipped with a 9th generation Intel i7 6700T quad-core processor, 16 GB DDR4 RAM and a 256 GB SSD. I plan to use an external 1TB hard drive for storage expansion and an external CD/DVD drive for old CD content that I still have and use occasionally. Copes with my needs well and in fairly cool temperatures most of the time and rarely makes much noise. It has two DisplayPorts and one VGA connector, which I thought was a bit odd given that DisplayPort isn't as widely used as HDMI on almost all monitors these days. and television. I ended up having to use a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter (source to monitor). I would have preferred at least 1 HDMI port instead of 2 DisplayPort ports. The integrated Intel UHD graphics seems to work well, but it doesn't have a graphics card, so don't expect to be able to play hardcore Steam and other PC games on it. It can crash, hang, or lag horribly when there's too much to handle. Windows 10 was pre-installed and was easy to set up. I didn't have to fiddle around in the bios. In general I am very satisfied.
