If you're trying to use less paper, this is the perfect place to start. These washable paper towels look like the high quality paper towels I love, but you can use them over and over again. The hardest part is not throwing them away. When they arrived I ripped off a dozen rolls and put them under the paper towel holder, hoping that if I saw them there I would remember to use them instead of paper towels. I used it to remove some of the dirt that had gotten into the house and rinsed it out. I used another to mop up the water and spill from the counter. You just rinse them out and dry them too much. Or you can add some dish soap and wash it under the sink. I did that with what I use on the floor. Each sheet is slightly narrower than the picture size paper towels I usually use. My only minor complaint. The reel is over an inch shorter than standard reels. It fits a paper towel holder, but not standard holders that attach to the wall or bottom of a closet. buy in stores. I love it.
