Many pluses, few minuses

These were fantastic fans for the price! After owning them for 2 weeks I feel like they cost at least twice as much. I saw the Jayz2Cents review and decided to take a chance. If you don't mind clearing motherboard controls/stats via bios or windows then this is just amazing. I only wanted them for a minimal soft white effect on case fans and it worked, but from the remote it had many color modes. You can't customize the templates, but there are plenty to choose from. You can't install them one by one, but that suits me, and they all work in unison. They are very, very bright at maximum and very nice and dark at minimum. There are 3 speed levels and all 3 are surprisingly quiet. The build quality is amazing! I have no idea why people are complaining about the included screws as that wasn't an issue. The solution is to get a proper screwdriver instead of the tiny ones commonly used when building a PC. Come on folks, use your head. Note: I needed a total of 7 of these fans for my build and bought 2 of them so I ended up with 10. I now have 3 extra fans, an extra controller and an extra remote. I've heard others have had issues with this possible crash, so here it is resolved. Now I have an extra one and I encourage others to do the same if they can afford it for peace of mind. Tech Note: 6-pin fan, 3-pin controller. If you have a 4 pin MB you will need an adapter. EzDiY actually sells for around $18. Bought and returned. I have a 4 pin MB but figured I didn't even need to connect to my MB just to read the RPM and maybe control the RGB from the MB. In any case, it will be fan groups, not individual fans. I just hooked up power via SATA and found the remote has more than I need. Also, there were fewer wires, and in any case, it was impossible to control speed. *** Separate cables for each fan could have been useful, maybe 1 inch longer but it didn't make much of a difference. All in all, I'm very happy that everything went the way it did. . Many Thanks.
