I was specifically looking for a lighter weight robe for traveling. This is great. I like the length, it covers what needs to be covered. The inner tie keeps it from slipping loos, I really like that feature. The 3/4 sleeves are comfortable and don't get in the way when styling my hair, but are long enough to be warm. It packs well, I use compression pouches and it ends up very small and doesn't take much room (or weight) in my bag. I get almost totally dry before putting on the robe, so I can't address absorbency.
