Review on 🔪 Kyoku Vegetable Cleaver Knife - 7" Shogun Series - Premium Japanese VG10 Steel Core Forged Damascus Blade - Includes Sheath & Case by Gregory Abercrombie

I recently received this product, opened it and used it. Arrived in a beautiful, high-quality packaging (cardboard box). Upon examining the knife, I immediately noticed that the blade was NOT DAMASCUS. Patterns were etched (with laser or acid). Although I'm not an expert in metallurgy, I have damascus blades and can tell them apart. I am very disappointed that the product does not match the description. Now I'm wondering if that's real V10 steel (I can't tell one way or the other). Performance wise the knife cuts adequately from the start but not fantastic considering the cost. I would not recommend this knife. If I hadn't been so busy (yet too lazy to go through the returns process) I would have returned this product for a refund. Anyway, I'll grab it here. The seller needs to change the description.
