If your router has a 5G internet band and your laptop can receive internet speeds above 72 Mbps, you will be limited to that 72 Mbps as it is not compatible with 802.11ac WiFi adapters (which come with almost all new laptops available). . ). This caused my computer to disconnect and then reconnect to the internet about every 2 minutes - very annoying. It took me a lot of searching and trying to understand that in order to give you that exact 72 Mbps to stay connected to the internet, I need to change the adapter setting on my laptop to 802.011 b/n/g. It really sucks! looking for replacement now :(
