This is my first forge so I cant compair it to any others however I find nothing to improve on with the design or function of this unit. It was easy to install the burners and take the bubble wrap off the fire brick, that was the extent of the assembly required and other then that you just add propane. No refractory solution was needed before use I had it running in about 10 minutes and forged my first knife in about 4 hours of hand hammering. Pretty cool stuff. The unit feels very solid and has an attractive overall look, I will be upgrading the hose to braded steel line and integrating a pressure valve in the future mostly for looks haha.
