Wow, I can't believe this actually worked! I bought this powerline kit to connect the internet to my art studio without having to run the cable through another channel after we connected the power. The price was right and while I didn't really expect it to work, I decided to risk it. So glad I did! My studio has its own switch box that is connected to another switch box in the house by a long wire. So this Powerline device does not work via one, but via two junction boxes. He works like a champ! I can stream videos, upload and download large image files, and run Wi-Fi in the yard to play music and give guests access to the guest network when we host picnics and campfires. That it worked at all under these circumstances is impressive, but what's particularly impressive is that it runs at the same speed as devices hard-wired to a router in the house! Highly recommended!
