I used this to test the flavorful turkey oil marinade and the largest needle/cannula easily injected the chunky marinade into the meat. First I assembled it wrong, didn't put a white rubber o-ring on the nozzle and opened it up a bit. Once I added that part the injection went smoothly and the steel cannula easily pierced the turkey and as the oil marinade entered the meat I could see the meat swell as it filled with oil. The end product was fantastic and I plan on inserting a smaller hypodermic needle into Cornish Chicken with Soy Sauce Marinade. Overall I really like it and if you have a home cook they might like it too!
