Review on Hitachi ๐Ÿ”‹ R18DSALP4 Battery-Powered Cordless Cleaner by Michelle Carter

Good vacuum that gets better with a little work

I bought this because I have Hitachi and Metabo 18v tools so I already had four batteries and a couple of chargers. I like it, it has good suction for a cordless vacuum, it doesn't pick up a lot of dirt but it's good because I shake it out after each use. I'd rather not know, but that doesn't matter. The only thing I didn't like was that the cone of the pole is upside down compared to normal vacuums, so you can't use brushes and other tools from other vacuums, but I solved this problem because I had extra tubes had from an old vacuum cleaner., and I cut ten inches. Part off the male end and made a bicone plug adapter on my belt sander. Now I can use the factory tube in reverse or other vacuum tubes and any other accessories from other vacuums like brushes etc. Even if you have that vacuum you should buy this flashlight https://www.amazon.com/Hitachi- UB18DEL- 18 volt cordless flashlight - runs on the same battery and is very cheap - 14.99, I use mine 3-4 times a week. I really like using the same battery platform for all my tools, flashlights and this vacuum cleaner. I would never buy a battery powered vacuum that uses a dedicated battery because if it dies when you can get a new battery it will probably cost the same as a new vacuum. That being said I already had four tool batteries and these are quality batteries and tools. So if I need a new one, it's for all my tools, not just my vacuum cleaner.
