The antenna is excellent and meets my expectations. I am sure it will tune and dive as needed as I have been working with an antenna system for many years. I read that some people who bought this antenna thought the antenna was bad because the magnetic base didn't stick to the car. Note that on newer vehicles, more body components are made from composites rather than steel to reduce weight. Please test your car with a good magnet to determine the location of the steel components. The trunk and hood of many vehicles can be made of either fiberglass or plastic. My antennas should be on the roof, that's the best place anyway. Also keep in mind that these antennas are not plug and play. They need to be configured to work properly. If you are unfamiliar with this, contact your local CB or amateur radio shop or radio shop for help. If you know a local radio amateur, they will have the knowledge and equipment to help you.
