Doesn’t fit 1 3/8 door
The width of the item itself (from side panel to side panel) is 1 3/8 inch. There is no way that this would wrap around our 1 3/8 door since the side panels need room also. The entire thing bowed and warped while trying to get it on. Gave up and decided to try a different brand that has side panels that allow adjustments.The funny thing is, I received a message before shipping that asked me if I was sure that this was the product I wanted. I had no reason to think it wouldn’t be based on the description.
- Used for a self built closet pocket barn door. Worked as expected and looks nice.
- The lack of a lock or latch means the door can be easily pushed open by pets or curious young children, presenting a potential safety hazard
