As others have pointed out, about half of the jewels have become loose and they fit less than standard measurements. I wear 2g and they slid right in so I can tell they are smaller. They are visually much smaller. For my purposes they are fine. I'm not a fan of the size of my ears so it's ok if they close a little. With a smaller profile and jewel-like aesthetic, they're well-suited for work and occasions when you want to minimize the fact that you have calibrated ears, especially on lighter colors. My ears are quite sensitive and there were no reactions to the material with daily cleaning, so that's a plus. They're not perfect, but they still get compliments and serve their purpose. I'm an aspie and secretly love how gems move and click; they became an attraction for me. However, they can annoy others, so be warned.
