I wish I knew sooner. I have braces and a pocket has formed in them for 2 years. Brushed regularly with dental floss (floss and water). He was treated by a periodontist for 6 months after removal and handed over for testing. If I had known when I was wearing braces, it probably would have prevented later treatment. Cleaned after eating but not complete. They are very helpful when you are not at home.
