Falls apart instantly

The first time I tried using one of these it fell apart in half before I could even get the fabric in properly. I tried another one, hoping the first one was an accident. I was incredibly careful and gentle with him, but the same thing happened. It fell apart in my hands before I could put all the pieces back together. They looked so cute in the picture and I was thrilled to get them. Unfortunately this was nothing short of a disappointment. Then I just threw the rest away.
