Doesn't work if the surface has a curve.
My problem with this holder is that it is actually a small suction cup. If you put it on a perfectly flat surface, it works great. If the surface has *any* curvature, it won't seal properly. I tried using this on my car's dashboard with very little curvature and it just couldn't create a seal. Again, if you use it on your desk or on a perfectly flat part of your car it will work fine, otherwise it won't work at all.
