My office noise reduction is about 70% of the outside noise. My best experience has been with active noise cancellation, which eliminates 95% of the noise. So I think they're great for headphones. I have big ears so I use the largest size. I'm glad I got this set because in many other listings you only have one size option and you have to hope it's a good one. Instead you have options. Unfortunately, like most earplugs, after about 3 months of using earwax or ear oil, they no longer hold in place and fall out when you take the earplugs out of your pocket. It could also be caused by material stretching, but I'm not sure.
