This cable solved my problem!

The VGA connector on my old computer is so loose that it turns on and off. One of the dogs hit him on the nose and I never got the signal back! Wanted to use a DVI connector but the metal frame on it was the same size as on my computer so I couldn't use it to connect the pins. But the monitor has an HDMI port so I bought that and it worked!
