Ideal for melamine

I use mine for melamine edging and it works very well. about 30 seconds. To align the blades, slightly loosen the screws that secure the stationary blade, then push the tool into the closed position. Then, holding the tool closed, slide the loose blade forward until it touches the other blade and hold while tightening the screws. Ready! It's not an "expensive" tool, but it does what it's supposed to do and does it well. At $8 this is a fantastic deal.
