Overall these are pretty good boots but I'm only giving three stars because they chafe my son's calves when he wears them (he wears them with shorts to enjoy puddles left by summer storms). Inside the boots there are rivets that connect and rub the loops on the side. I won't buy it again because of that. I'll look for the ones that have the loops molded along with the rest of the boot. The backlight on one of the boots stopped working after a month, but otherwise they work.
