Review on πŸ“± NADAMOO Wireless Barcode Scanner: Bluetooth and USB 1D Bar Code Reader for Inventory Management – Compatible with Windows/Mac OS/Linux, iPhone, iPad, Android by Haggis Bryant

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly good - works with both RF and Bluetooth

Although it's light, it feels solid in the hand. So far I've had no trouble scanning anything with a regular barcode (note that it doesn't work with things like QR codes). Like most devices in this category, it converts various types of barcodes into a string, followed by a newline to simulate user input, followed by pressing Enter. lots of scans so you can use it outside of the range of Bluetooth or RF connections (up to 30,000 according to their specs). This would come in handy if you needed to take inventory in a warehouse and couldn't be hard-wired to your computer during the scan. I've only used it with my Mac and Android (with the "Pie" version, but I had to restart my phone to complete pairing), but I'll be using it on both my wife's Windows laptop and an iOS one -Test device - both should be compatible. You can charge it with the included USB A to USB B cable. Alternatively, you can literally scan the power-off barcode (included) to save battery life. IMO I would only see a manual switch for this, but it works. In general I am very satisfied and have no regrets.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • so far so good
