I did a bit of shopping before finally deciding to just try the cheap one. I'm by no means an expert on mouse pads, but if you're looking for a very large mouse pad that's big enough for your keyboard without printing on it, for $9 this is pretty decent. The material doesn't feel as silky smooth as my old mouse pad, but it doesn't really affect the mouse's performance. So far there have been no problems with either the Magic Mouse or the Logitech gaming mouse. The rubber smells a bit, but I seriously doubt there is a mouse pad that doesn't smell like new rubber for a long time, no matter the price range.
