Their tightness in the Toddy's brewing vessel greatly reduces contact of water with the coffee grounds, leaving the coffee unconcentrated at all and thus creating significant coffee wastage (i.e., wasted coffee) that more than offsets the lower price of coffee. filter bags. And as if that weren't enough, the filter lets through a lot of sediment, so much so that the toddy felt filter completely clogs, which never happens with branded bags. Finally, the weak product is terribly bitter, not at all the bland taste of coffee made from identical coffee brewed in branded bags. What a waste.
