I am an avid microscopist and don't want to spend a lot of money on my hobby. For my needs, this range is really good. Decided between this and the Amscope model, but chose the Swift because the triangular base takes up less space. I know I'm not getting the level of optics or precision that much more expensive microscopes can offer, but for what I want to see this microscope is great! I like that the dual light lets me use stereo mode.
