I recently tried something new from NYX: a lipstick in a vivid, sparkly shade that attracts quick attention to the lips and wears nicely on its own—but only if you shut your lips after applying your makeup. To add, I used to think that bright colors were fun, but now I see why so many women avoid them as they get older; they highlight defects that most people don't even notice, like yellow teeth or an uneven smile. Given that this lipstick fits into this category, I can only conclude that you either want everything you use to be flawless or you don't use it at all. That lip color is so awesome.
