Great for shooting videos on the latest iPhone
I have a SE 2020 that I shoot videos on. With this adapter I can charge my device and connect a microphone to it at the same time. This is very important for extended video recording with one of the later iPhones that lack the dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack. You'll probably need an adapter anyway, you can also get one that will allow you to run on battery while you're on it.
