Of course there are digital recorders and I have a few. But I also have old analog cassettes and it's good to have a recorder to play them back when needed. I converted them to digital files, but sometimes you just want to hear the original, like listening to your mom's favorite record. Also, the buttons on digital devices are sometimes confusing. It's nice and easy here. Forward. Turning back. Stop. You always know exactly what is happening. The quality is good and it runs on batteries, so you can always have spares with you and replace them immediately. You can take it anywhere. Hiking, driving, whatever. Recommended for those who for some reason don't want the digital version, or for those who have analogue tapes to listen to.
