Colors stay so vibrant!

This tone is amazing! I baked clay when I was young, but gave up this hobby because after a while I realized that I would be better off spending my lunchtime allowance on food. Now that I'm an adult with a young child, this hobby has reopened. We received the package today and opened it right away. Clay seemed a bit crumbly at first, but became pleasantly soft after kneading with your fingers, I would say the consistency after kneading is close to that of plasticine. Some colors stuck to my fingers so I had to wipe them off with a tissue before using other colors to avoid accidentally mixing colors. The audio burned surprisingly brightly, with no resizing or distortion. The clay has tarnished a bit since then, so I might buy Sculpey Satin Glaze if I continue clay baking. I will use a small toaster outside for future baking. The house smelled badly of plastic (I knew it was likely, but being too excited I took a chance and used the main oven anyway). It took several hours to air out the oven and I hope my next batch of cookies doesn't taste like plastic. As you can see from the photo, my little one had a blast making (incredibly massive) beads for the new bracelet. I made tiny clips of Sky Blubbs from Netflix Truth and the Rainbow Kingdom for them. I'm glad I found an interesting hobby for my kid!

Pros
  • An inexpensive way to give children the opportunity to express their creativity in the classroom.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
