I don't usually write reviews let alone bad reviews but I'm so frustrated that I have to. After connecting and setting up the computer, I found that the problem was that the USB 3 connection was extremely sensitive, which means that if you give the computer even a small nudge, the hard drive will spin down. I decided to just deal with it. But I didn't know how much it affected the disk software and after a while I couldn't eject it without forcing it. And then my files would disappear, so I had to log out and then reconnect only to have the files disappear again soon after. After rebooting the hard drive and troubleshooting, I contacted G-Tech/WD support to get the replacement and have the most tedious round trip due to glitches on their side. And finally they sent me an RMA but I couldn't find the link. It's been a week and 3 letters to her since then and I haven't received a reply. So we're still waiting.
