I think this is a right direction to becoming conscious about our environment and wanting to be zero waste, and I don't necessarily have a huge issue with these. I like them and they do the job. But, the only issue I do have is because these utensils are wooden, they absorb bacteria since they are wooden since wood has pores. I would put them in boiling hot water and see all this yellow water come out. This isn't a flaw in the product, it's just because it's wooden. I am going to be using metal portable utensils instead. Just keeping that in mind!
