Review on Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 205/55 R16 91H summer by Adam Nowak ᠌

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

When Stepway was 15 years old, they switched to standard tires (205/55R16). Even more so, I was taken aback by the incredible generosity displayed by such a magnet. But what really took me by surprise was the fact that I was able to skate 15,000 kilometers every season on it. Amazing balance. In the world of wheels, every decision is a trade-off between two competing priorities. If the rubber is soft to begin with, it will continue to soften with time but will wear out more quickly and will have weaker sidewalls. The harder the rubber, the longer it will endure, but the more it will shake you to the very core of your being. I won't claim that I experimented with a large number of different types of rubber; rather, I looked for a dozen or one and a half marks. When I was driving around in official vehicles in the north, the Urals, and the Volga region, I didn't typically pay too much attention to the type of rubber that was worth. However, I took great care in selecting tires for my vehicles. When I lived there (both in the summer and the winter), Goodyear was one of my favorite places. If there are, however, plans to switch back to Goodyear winter tires for the upcoming season, then the only option for summer tires will be Continental. Taking into account the fact that the wife does occasionally take the wheel, it is more important to prioritize safety than financial gain. Oh, that's right, I was unable to purchase the 5th PremiumContact in the spring for some unknown reason. I decided to use him as a replacement for the sixth. Didn't really notice much of a change. Wear has not yet been evaluated because the pandemic delayed the assessment by a little over 12,000 keme. This caused the season to be passed. But that is a completely different tale. In the picture is a vehicle traveling along the 5th PremiumContact on one of Crimea's "roads" (Cape Tarkhankut, to the north of the lighthouse and heading towards the Black Sea). I got out to check if there was a road behind these stones, as the car is currently perched at an angle of 30 degrees.

Pros
  • The best summer tire I've seen in all my years behind the wheel, which is forty. 1. You get five points for your handling! The braking distance receives five points! It makes no difference whether the asphalt is dry or moist. 2. Resistance to wear and tensile strength! According to my estimations, I have traveled 55,000 kilometers over the course of the past five years. Because of the tread depth (which was already less than 1 mm), it was decided to replace it. And what roads you have to drive on; it can be nerve-wracking to think back on those sometimes. (please refer to the photo). Wheels made of alloy needed to be straightened a few times over the season. The tires performed admirably. 3. Sidewalls that have a sufficient amount of strength (for the 55th profile) 4. Surprisingly, it is able to handle some light off-road terrain. Wet grass, the impassable stone of the Crimean peninsula, and the washboard of a dirt road are all within her control. Even more shocking coming from someone with such a tread. 5. Excellent grip on DRY asphalt even at -5.
Cons
  • 1. You will not have the opportunity to fly on it onto even the thinnest ice if you are given this warning. You will know what it means to be "like a cow in the ice" when it happens to you personally (((Even in the light ice, it went off with a bang. 2. Keeping a low profile yet remaining tough. In most cases, driving through rural areas results in a vigorous massage session. 3. A touch noisy than we'd prefer. During the installation of the chatter recorder on my Stepanych, I disassembled and glued the doors in three layers; nonetheless, at a speed of 110, this modification does not help very much. 4. A rut can be easily formed using 205 tire rubber. The problem is that any rubber that is broader than 200 millimeters will have this issue.
