In winter we usually spend a few hours a week outside and I needed something to keep my kids feet warm. I had my eye on some of the more expensive brands of wool socks for kids, but I didn't want to waste my arms and legs on something they would quickly outgrow. I chose this one based on other good reviews and I'm glad I did! I took the 1-3 year old size as my two children are 1 and 3 years old. They fit my 3 year old well and will probably fit next year too (he currently wears size 9 toddler shoes). They are quite big for my 1 year old but they work for our purposes. After several washes, the socks became sticky and not as soft as they were at first, hence the 4 stars, but otherwise they have held up well. I would order again.
