Exactly what I needed. These have so many applications I used some for my sons snake tank cause it kept escaping. I used more than one because of the octagon shape, but they are very strong, once I put it on it was not coming off. So very sturdy. Although if you need to remove one heating it up with a hairdryer before removing works. One would keep me out of a room even if I pulled hard. I think it would break the door before these. Also very easy for me and my older children to latch and unlatch, but my 4 year old ( whom we did not show how ) can't. I love these things, I'm going to get more just so I have them on hand.
