Glad I bought this one! It works fine in my city and 2000 country. I only hear clicks when no song is playing yet. When a song is playing, I can't hear anything but the song even at minimum volume. The quality is no worse than on the radio, with some songs almost CD quality. I couldn't be happier! You may be lucky enough to find an adapter that works with your car, but it's worth the search! I've never considered using one of these in the past, assuming the quality would be terrible. I mean, when was the last time you listened to a cassette when you could choose CD or MP3? I'm so glad I found this on a whim. Also a tip for those who don't have an iPod or MP3 player and don't want to fill their current phone's memory with songs: if you have an old smartphone, that's fine! My old phone had a 32GB SD card so I erased everything from it and uploaded music! Definitely better than spending hundreds of dollars on an analog iPod.
